I've noticed as I go through the blog roll that many of you, like me, are experiencing a bit of post-holiday funk.  I'm so glad I'm not alone here.  I'm convinced that January was made for hibernating.  We shouldn't make big plans or start major projects.  It's best to just spend the whole month curled up with a cup of tea and fuzzy socks.  Wait for the snow to melt, the clouds to part, and Spring to wash away the stress.  There's nothing like a fresh start and blank white drawing board.

Well, there be no snow here.  In fact, you may be fooled to think Spring has already sprung here.  Alabama has the most bizarre weather.  A week ago it was freezing and today was tank top weather.  I'm not buying it.  It will be frigid by next week for sure.

Anyway, on to the pictures.  A friend and I took the kiddos to a great local park.  We fed geese, went for a walk and played on the big playground.  It was exactly what I needed.
