I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas. We had a wonderful day with family and friends. We spoiled the little ones and ate great food, drank good wine and had many, many laughs.
I know evryone is either traveling or recovering from the holiday, but since today is book chat day, I thought I'd share some of the bookish goodies I received as gifts yesterday.
My brother and his fiancé bought me the cutest dress that I just had to share. I think I need a new pair of shoes to go with it.
My mother-in-law and I both got each other the same Pioneer Woman cookbook. It was pretty funny. I cannot wait to cook up something delish.
Jeremy got me the Pride and Prejudice shirt from Out of Print that i wanted. I love that he reads my blog.
My dad gave me the Professional Blogging book, and on top of that, he bought me my own domain name! I haven't made the transition to it quite yet, but I will let you all know when I do. I just love how my family supports my blog.
I hope you all had as good of a day yesterday as I did.
What books did you get?
Next week book chat question: what is your reading goal for 2013? Do you have any reading resolutions?

ReplyDeleteThat dress is super cute! My husband was absolutely amazing and got me "Les Miserables" and we saw the movie Christmas day. Amazing!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an excellent Christmas!! I wish I would've gotten some more book related things but since I didn't ask, I shouldn't be too surprised about it. I'll be back next week to link up for reading goals :)
ReplyDeleteI've found blogging is a great way of silently communicating to your friends and family what's on your wish list :) You seem to have gotten loads of great goodies! I got a lovely baking book along with Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier - an old favourite - and a subscription to a film magazine. One of my New Yrs resolutions is to try and balance all the fiction I read with a little more non-fiction. Just stumbled upon your lovely blog by the way and I'm an instant fan :)
ReplyDeleteNice presents! Happy 2013, my friend!
ReplyDeleteHi Jessica...I'm a new follower and heard about you from Mia. I am also a fellow book worm and can't wait to join your book chat! I will be linking up on Thursday!
