Happy Valentine's Day friends!
Today is exciting for me. No, we don't make a big deal out of V'day. This excitement is due to the...

BONNAROO 2012 LINEUP!
I've never been to Bonnaroo. For the past 3 year's I've wanted to go, but I was a little busy having babies and getting through deployments. But it just might be in the cards for me this year. I promise to blog more about it if it turns out that I can go.
As for this lineup...it's good. Mind-blowing? No. But that's OK. Bon Iver will be there...I'm in. And I mean...Radiohead. Come on.
So this is what I'm up to today...blasting my favorites on Spotify. Looking up new ones on YouTube. Making plans & looking at pics of past years. It's very exciting to me. A whole weekend of music, art, friends, sun and fun. I can't wait.
A few shows I won't dare miss...
The Civil Wars
St. Vincent
Radiohead
(randomly my favorite song, not likely to be performed)
And the best, most awesome, super favorite, cannot friggin wait...
Bon Iver
Anyone else planning/wanting to go?
What do you think of the line-up?

I've been wanting to go ever since it started, but I never know how much tickets are (I heard they're through the roof!). But it's gonna be a great show for sure! I hope you get to go! :)
ReplyDeleteIve never been, but I heard that it is an amazing festival!
ReplyDeleteI've ALWAYS wanted to go to Bonaroo!! But it's really far for me :( I love to travel for music though, I've always wanted to go to a far away music festival. There's a bunch of good ones on their lineup this year, you'll have a BLAST!
ReplyDeleteFoster the People, The Beach Boys, The Civil Wars, Alice Cooper, and Flogging Molly. So much jealousy right now.
ReplyDeleteI have never been but in college and I always had friends who went and I wish I had gone because now I probably never will. I looked through the line up and the ones I would be most into are: the avett brothers, foster the people, feist, grouplove, the joy formidable, the kooks, two door cinema club, young the giant, ludacris- yes ludacris... surprising enough I love me some luda.
ReplyDeleteAs a midwesterner now living in the NE, I am incredibly jealous.
ReplyDeleteComments are my favorite...
