Welcome back for the 2nd edition of "Stop Pinning & Start Doing". I hope you all have been putting good use to that Pinterest inspiration. I know last week I said I would be doing my inspiration board this week, but it's not quite finished yet, so I tackled this cute little project first.
Let me get this out of the way first. I DID use this blog's tutorial for this project. So I'm just sharing with you my finished project...crooked lines & all. I am in no way going to show you how it's done. Not my idea...not going to take credit for it.
So here, my friends, is the tutorial. <--click there.
And here is my finished product!
This project gave me inspiration & I created a few different variations. Mostly because I had a bunch of different size zippers I needed to use.
Coin purse...
Marker pouch...
Think stocking stuffers.
These really did not take long at all. I could make one in about 20 minutes & the tutorial is super easy to follow. Beginning sewers could easily complete this project. It is a great sewing blog to follow. I highly recommend it!
Thanks again Pinterest!
Now stop pinning & go make something!

These are great, I could probably whip up a few with my scrap material.
ReplyDeleteReally cute pouches! I'm working on setting up my craft room right now & this is making me get ideas for some starter sewing projects. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDelete[so glad Ballistic Gypsy showed me this blog!]
LOVE it!! I really do need to get started on some of my Pinterest inspirations. Maybe once we get all settled in our new house!
