It finally feels like we're moving!  This place has been madness this week.  The movers came on Monday and took away most of our possessions, crated them up, and sent them on their way to Germany!  We don't leave until next week, but we had to have our stuff shipped off early because it takes up to two months to have it all delivered.  I'd rather be without our stuff here, where we have friends and know our way around.  So, we still have another week of living on air mattresses and eating at a borrowed card table.  We can handle it.  We're a military family.  We're nothing if not flexible.

I haven't minded the lack of television because THIS came in the mail on Tuesday...

Unfortunately, just because our house is empty does not mean that I don't have much to do, because I have a lot to do!  Aside from working ahead in school, blogging ahead to avoid gaps, cleaning the house before handing over the keys and keeping the kids busy during Spring Break, I haven't had as much time to read as I would like.  And I bet my husband would laugh at that because he thinks all I do is read this book.  According to him, I'm an addict.  I can handle that.  Needless to say, I'm loving it.
Do you read this series?  So far, Brighton is the only one I have to gush about this series to.  Anyone care to join us?

Also, I have to share the kids' Easter baskets with you.  This is what an Easter basket looks like for a family that is moving in 7 days...

The basket - reusable toy bin
Candy, bubbles, chalk - disposable
Small toys that easily fit in a suitcase to be played with on the plane - check.
Oh and of course, our new favorite things...eggs filled with confetti.  A friend introduced me to these last year.  You crack them on someone else head and confetti comes out. The kids love them.  They sell them at Walmart.

I hope you all have a great Easter!  We'll probably just spend the day around the house hanging out and soaking up some Spring. :)
