So, I truly believe books make the best gift. And I saw a thing somewhere (on Pinterest probably) that said:
"Next time your friend asks you what you want for your birthday, tell them you want their favorite book."
And I think this is just the best idea! You can tell a lot about a person by their favorite book, I think.
So, that's what today's book chat is. If someone asked you for your favorite book, what would you give them? Even better if it's something in the past year. Just something that knocked your socks off.
And maybe start this tradition with someone. A spouse, a friend, a family member. Every year on your birthdays, gift them your favorite book of the year. If you already do something like this, let me know!

I LOVED Me Before You. The Light Between Oceans and Wild were my favorites last year. :) Also, if you like New Adult/Women's Fiction, Confess by Colleen Hoover was amazing, IMO.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I hope you like my recommendation <3
ReplyDeleteI would give Carry On, Warrior. It's such a feel-good read :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to be participating in the chat again! A very very happy birthday to you! I love the idea of telling people to give you their favorite book for your birthday. I should do that! Then of course I'd have even more books on my shelf to read lol. I'll probably die and there will be unread books sitting there.
ReplyDeleteSide note: I tried to copy paste the button link but it pasted your signature instead. So I just copied the URL link for the button photo. =)
Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteOMG the Book Chat! How I've missed it so :) I will definitely be linking up next week :) For a book recommendation - if you haven't read "Whistling Past the Graveyard" yet you should. It's really good and such a sweet story. xoxo *erica*
ReplyDeleteI also believe that. I have few friends who gave me books, that really touches my heart. I love reading books and share what I’ve read to my other friends. Reading for me is the mirror of my happiness. I don’t know, but whenever I said I want to read books I think it will become my outlet to escape sadness for the mean time. -Dorothy of wise essay writing

ReplyDeleteI like to read books! I have never used this service, but many have heard about it. I don't have much money and I try to learn with my mind and write papers. Of course a couple of times I asked for help in professional writing service and I liked it. It makes life easier. But I am sure that you need to train your writing skills and learn to write an essay with your mind.
